When you use RallyCrew, we may collect:

Personal Information (only what you choose to share):

  • Comfort zone, certifications, watercraft, profile responses

  • Event details and posts you create

Technical Information (automatically collected):

  • Device type and operating system

  • Browser type

  • IP address

  • Usage data (e.g., which features are used most often)

We use this data to operate, secure, and improve the RallyCrew platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Help paddlers find each other and connect

  • Power search filters, event listings, messaging, and group features

  • Improve the performance and reliability of the platform

  • Respond to support inquiries and enforce community standards

  • Comply with legal requirements

We may use aggregated, anonymized data to better understand how the community uses RallyCrew, but this data is never connected to your personal identity.

4. Who Can See What

You control your profile visibility. RallyCrew offers three privacy options:

  • Public – Your profile is visible to all users

  • Friends Only – Your profile is only visible to users you’ve connected with

  • Private – Your profile is hidden from others

You can change your privacy settings at any time. Any question you leave unanswered on your profile will not appear publicly.

5. Blocking and Reporting

You can block any user at any time. You can also report users who violate RallyCrew’s Code of Conduct. In cases where community safety is at risk, RallyCrew may review relevant data and take appropriate action.

6. Underage Users

RallyCrew is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has registered, we will remove the account immediately.

Users under 18 may use RallyCrew only with parental or legal guardian consent and supervision. While RallyCrew is based in the United States, we recognize that age of digital consent may vary by country. By using RallyCrew, you confirm that you meet the age requirements of your local jurisdiction or have the proper consent to participate.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights under data privacy laws:

  • Access – You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

  • Correction – You can request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Deletion – You can request that we delete your account and associated data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or our services. If we make material changes, we’ll let you know through the app, by email, or other clear communication. Continued use of RallyCrew after a policy update means you agree to the new version.
